Programs

Fathering the Fatherless™ does not deliver programs directly. We source, fund, coordinate, and support programs through local churches, nonprofits, and community partners — because the local church and community already have the infrastructure, the relationships, and the trust. Our job is to bring the framework, the resources, and the funding to strengthen what they are already doing.

Every program below is built around The SHEPHERD Framework™ and available through partnership with Fathering the Fatherless.

Youth Mentorship

Fatherly guidance for children in fatherless and single-parent homes

One in four American children grows up without a father in the home. The research on what that absence costs — academically, emotionally, spiritually — is not abstract. It is the reason this organization exists.

Through partnerships with local churches, nonprofits, and community organizations, Fathering the Fatherless coordinates and funds mentorship connections between trained adult men and children ages 8–18 from fatherless homes, single-parent households, widows' families, and foster care. Mentors are screened, trained in, The SHEPHERD Framework, and matched based on compatibility and need.

This is not a program for men who have it all figured out. It is for men who are willing to show up consistently — and who understand that showing up is most of the job.

Men's Equipping

Biblical and practical tools for authentic manhood and effective fatherhood

The Built to Father™ trilogy and The SHEPHERD Framework are the foundation of Fathering the Fatherless men's equipping work. The 13-week Built to Father™ Study Guide is designed specifically for men's small groups and church discipleship programs — one pillar per session, with discussion questions, Scripture, and practical application built in.

Fathering the Fatherless partners with local churches to bring this curriculum into their men's ministry, provides bulk pricing on study guides for church adoption, and makes Douglas Androsky available to speak at kickoff or closing sessions.
This is not a parachute program. It is a curriculum that works through the relationships and structures already in place at your church.

Pastors and men's ministry leaders: contact doug@fatheringthefatherless.org to discuss study guide adoption for your congregation.

CLOSING

Every program Fathering the Fatherless offers is available through partnership — with your church, your nonprofit, or your community organization. We bring the framework. You bring the relationships. Together that is how generational change actually happens.
